Easter at The Vine

Easter at The Vine was an exciting Day! We had children's activities for all ages at both service and an Egg Hunt at noon. The kids learned just how powerful Jesus is and helped Pastor Melissa get the Easter Story straight! We hunted over 2000 eggs and had a blast. Egg Hunts and bunnies are fun, but the awesome gift of Christ is the real reason we celebrate Easter. Luckily, at The Vine we get to celebrate Jesus everyday, not just on Easter!

"I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!"

I imagine that there will be more than a few Vine Launch Team members that have a tough time falling asleep on Saturday... the excitement on Gallows road is ready to bubble over! All of the volunteers that have dedicated themselves to preparing for The Vine launch will get to see the fruits that have grown after months of planting seeds!

Children's Ministry will hold one last workday on Saturday (March 6th) from 4-6 to finish up the fun stuff - decorating! If you would like more information or to volunteer, please give me a call at 703-765-0293 or email me!

Immediately following the decorating day, Amy is organizing a time of prayer. Beginning at 6:00 we hope to have several people meet at the church to thank God for all He has and and all that is to come!

We hope that you will join us for our very first worship celebration on Sunday, March 7th! We have two worship services, 9:30 and 11:00. During the 9:30 hour, children are invited to join in our exciting Faithweaver Friends program. A nursery for small children under 3 year old, is available during both services.
